As Sunflower Production Leader of the BU Limagrain Europe you perform the Crop production (Agronomic and Industrial)
• You define and implement the Sunflower agronomic strategy and contribute to the industrial strategy associated to meet business requirements in a context of volatile markets
• You drive the improvement of our agronomic production KPI (Yield, Reliability, Quality, COGP) and monitor the industrial KPI to address the challenges in collaboration with the industrial performance Leader
• You build the production plans and define the best agronomic practices to achieve the agronomic targets : volume, reliability, quality and COGP (Annual Budget responsibility: 50 million € excluding Limagrain Coop)
• You ensure technical guidance for all BU Sunflower Seed Production, internal and 3rd party
• You bring the Sunflower Agronomic Production expertise to the R&D, DPM, Operations teams and in the Crop team

1. Crop Strategy
• Define the Sunflower agronomic strategy to meet business needs in term of Volume, Quality and COGP
• Develop a Mid-Term production plan setting out the trajectory to improve KPI (Yield, Reliability, Quality, COGP)
• Lead the HC, SB and HE production plans definition and ensure its implementation in accordance with our product specifications and our reliability and cost goals
2. Crop Performance
• Monitor the production KPI, analyze them and drive their improvement
• Drive the COGP improvement through selection of production areas, production plan distribution, purchasing policy, yield improvement, waste rate reduction,…
• Drive the Yield improvement process via a plan per area and leading/supporting European and local improvement projects
• Contribute to the Production Research testing plans and validate them
• Validate the parent seed production plan and its management rules
3. Crop Management
• Lead the development of the agronomic production budget for Sunflower crop at BU level
• Ensure consistency of BU regular reporting such as production updates, crop evaluations, budget forecasts…
• Define Sunflower seed purchasing guidelines (subcontractors and farmers) and support teams in negotiating
• Animate production areas and Limagrain community of sunflower seed production

• Master degree in agriculture/agronomy, with more than 5 years in field seeds production, within an international environment.
• 5+ years background in similar activities and seed production experience (in sunflower is a nice to have)
• Agronomy and crop diagnosis within the fields. Hands on capability
• Management and leadership competencies as expected at the level of the position.
• Diplomacy, ability to anticipate and drive change are essential to succeed in this position.

• Ability to influence transversally and to work in a matrix environment.
• Analytical skills, persuasiveness, negotiating expertise and reliability are also requested.
• Fluent in English.
• Frequent travels to production areas in Europe (30% of time)
