You will oversee branding & communication for Limagrain's Business Line dedicated to Field Seeds (LFS) and will act as a bridge between corporate communication and the Business Line territories.

Some background information

The almost 10,000 employees of Limagrain are spread across 6 Business Lines (BL) in 53 countries. The Business Line dedicated to Field Seeds activities (LFS) is organized in a matrix combination of global functions (research, human resources, strategic marketing and finance) with multifunctional teams in territories responsible to execute the LFS 2030 Ambition. LFS organization employs today around 2.800 employees.  

As Branding & Communication Manager for the LFS Business Line, you will have to:

  • Reinforce awareness of the LG brand (Limagrain’s brand for field seeds)
  • Ensure that the Business Line conveys the vision of Groupe Limagrain
  • Ensure that each member of staff in the Business Line is well informed about developments at LFS and at Limagrain


What does this mean in practical terms?

You will report to the Global Head of Strategic Marketing for LFS and will work with both, the corporate communication department and the communication teams in the territories and functions. Your missions will focus on the 3 areas: branding, external communication and internal communication.

 

For branding, you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee and maintain up to date the registration and protection status of the LFS brands
  • Define guidelines for the creation of product/service sub brands
  • Monitor brand KPIs and define high level strategies for branding development
  • Define and maintain visual identity guides for the LG brand

For the external communication, you will be responsible for:

  • Create and maintain a content calendar for BL to increase brand awareness and reputation on the markets
  • Share the content calendar with marketing and communication staff in the territories in order to exchange and improve this content
  • Provide guidelines on the use of the various media (social networks, websites, press, etc.) to local marketing and communication staff
  • Manage BL's social networks (mainly LinkedIn)
  • Manage the LFS global website
  • Monitor communication KPIs (website and social networks)
  • Manage relations with global media suppliers for BL

For the internal communication, you will be responsible for :

  • Define a communications calendar for the LFS Executive Committee
  • Support the LFS Executive Committee in communicating important developments, whether they concern LFS or the Group
  • Develop BL communication materials
  • Manage the organization of BL events
  • Manage emailing and newsletters

This position, which is both strategic and operational, will require you to interact with a wide variety of people (members of the LFS Executive Committee, corporate communication team, local communication teams, service providers, etc.). In this role you are the informal leader of a community of communication experts around the globe to ensure high level of efficacity and alignment.

Your career path has led you to work in a matrix organization and to functionally engage teams in different countries. Management by influence holds no secrets for you.

 

Equally at ease with strategic and operational missions, you know how to combine the requirements of an international company with the local context. As an excellent communicator, you know how to develop and maintain a network of contacts.

 

Rigorous without being rigid, you combine organizational skills with the ability to adapt. Self-starter who enjoys teamwork, you are comfortable working in a networked, multicultural and multilingual environment.

Recognized for your sense of service, you easily take ownership of projects and are keen to move them forward.

 

Last but not least, an international environment requires fluency in English and in French. You also have excellent writing skills, in both French and English.
