As a Supply Chain Manager, you lead the Planners and Procurement employees and you report to the Operations Director. You have an important role in connecting different departments within Limagrain Ingredients BV like Production, Warehouse and Order Service/Logistics. You are also responsible for further professionalizing and optimizing the integral and logistics-administrative processes within our company. You are continuously optimizing by analyzing, advising and steering on KPIs and you have regular contact with the Supply Chain managers of the other production locations within the BU Limagrain Ingredients in France.
Location: Weert (Netherlands).
Job description
Your most important tasks
o Connecting the departments directly involved in the Supply Chain;
o Prioritizing tasks: leading the team, innovating and optimizing processes and planning;
o Ensuring optimal Supply Chain planning whereby production capacity is optimally utilized and orders are delivered on time;
o Initiating/being involved in process improvements within Operations;
o Designing, organizing and improving the Supply Chain workflows;
o Ensure adequate coordination regarding maintenance and inspections on the production lines with the Maintenance Manager and/or QESH manager;
o Collaboration with other Operations departments, Purchase, Customer Service and Sales;
o Determining a realistic and reliable MLT Forecast (demand planning) based on production capacities and sales expectations;
o Determining the buffer and safety stocks for raw materials and end products;
o Reporting monthly to the Operations Director based on budget, KPIs and PDCA.
Profile
o You have a completed bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management;
o You have at least 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain position, preferably in the food and/or feed industry;
o You have at least 5 years of experience leading operational teams in a production-related environment;
o You see this role as a steppingstone towards a next step in your career;
o You have thorough knowledge of ERP systems;
o You master the English and Dutch language fluently in word and writing;
o You have a pragmatic attitude, like to take the lead and are a reliable and constructive discussion partner;
o You are a binding leader who knows how to motivate his/her colleagues based on conviction. You inspire colleagues to take responsibility through coaching and support.
