RESEARCH & INNOVATION - BREEDING
Main Goal
The field research technician will be responsible for implementing the corn experimentation network in compliance with phenotyping protocols, under the responsibility of the Regional Phenotyper and in close collaboration with his team.
Job description
- Seed reception and sowing preparation.
- Set up and monitor experimental trials (sowing, notations, harvesting), ensuring the quality of their execution and follow-up, in accordance with the requirements of current protocols and methodologies.
- Maintain regular contact with farmers and ensure the application of technical itineraries.
- Harvest planning and organization.
- Operation and maintenance of farm machinery/experimental equipment.
- Computer management of the experimentation network via Excel and other in-house software.
- Participate in the improvement of methods and tools used (equipment, projects, etc.).
- Supervision of temporary employees involved in experimental activities.
- Compliance with all safety instructions
Skills: what we expect of you
-You have a BAC to BAC+3 in agriculture and/or plant experimentation. First experience accepted.
-You are computer literate.
-English would be a plus
-Certtiphyto would be a plus
-You have a driving licence
-You are rigorous and have good planning skills. You are able to communicate easily and enjoy working as part of a team. You enjoy working in the field. The seasonal nature of the business and occasional travel are no hindrance.

Our recruitment process consists of several stages:
- the first consists of a pre-screening of applications by Jérémy, our Talent Acquisition Manager, accompanied by the future manager to establish a shortlist of candidates to be auditioned. Pre-qualification by telephone may also take place.
- A first interview is organized with the future manager.
- A second HR interview takes place shortly afterwards.
Finally, feedback is given to the candidates.
