At our station in Nérac (47), we are looking for a Seed Production Technician (M/F) to strengthen our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract as soon as possible.

The job involves carrying out technical tasks based on the maize seed production plan defined, in support of the incumbent technician: sowing, marking, harvesting, cleaning, sampling.
You will be required to take on certain tasks from the incumbent technician on an ad hoc basis, as required by the business.

In support of the incumbent technician, you may be required to carry out the following tasks:

- Prepare and carry out sowing according to the defined plan and the specific features of the grower network
- Carry out the necessary treatments (sowing, application of plant protection products, preparation of products, etc.)
- Follow up with farmers to ensure that technical itinerary recommendations are implemented as effectively as possible
- Carry out harvests according to the established protocol and schedule (knowledge and use of equipment, maintenance operations)
- Carry out post-harvest processing operations (threshing, storage and dispatch)
- Carry out grading operations and observations independently

You have 2 or 3 years' higher education (BTS or Licence) in agriculture or agronomy, and a good knowledge of seed production.

Serious, rigorous and organised, you enjoy working in the field. You have good powers of observation and are quickly able to work independently. You have good interpersonal skills and are a good team player.

Our recruitment process consists of several stages:
