The BU CFO position consists of 2 major roles:
· To coordinate the overall finance function at BU level;
· To be the operational CFO for the operations in Southeast Asia.
As such, the BU CFO will manage directly the Finance team in Southeast Asia and will overlook the financial operations in India and China with the local Heads of Finance. The BU CFO will also manage directly the BU Controlling Department consisting of a Head of BU Controlling and a Junior Controller as well as the BU Legal, Compliance and Risk Management department.
The BU CFO position is based in Bangkok (Thaïlande) and reports directly to the BU CEO of Limagrain Asia Pacific BU and functionally to the Group CFO.
Missions
· Act as a strategic and analytical thought partner and strategic advisor to the BU CEO, the leadership team, and the board of directors on a wide range of financial, strategic, operational, IT, and organizational issues.
· Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including tax filings and analysis of performance, variance, and cash flow to the strictest standards of accounting and the law.
· Develop and oversee strategic long-term planning, cost controls, objectives, goals and policies for the company. Maintain and enhance a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism which ensures adequate cash/working capital to meet operating needs.
· Partner with commercial and operational finance leaders to provide relevant and timely analysis, benchmarks and business insights that inform business decisions and drive profitable growth. Develop and review financial forecasts with senior management to assure business performance is in line with expectations and external guidance.
· Develop, manage, and motivate a strong financial team through trust and mentorship. Be a bridge-builder, collaborating and managing hands on to enhance the capabilities and drive organization excellence.
Profil
Profil
10+ years’ experience as a Group/regional CFO for an organization of similar scale and complexity.
A Chartered Accountant and master’s degree are preferred.
Full suite of CFO coverage, i.e., financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, procurement, corporate finance, internal control.
Strong track record in partnering with CEO and senior leadership team to recommending and executing strategies to support business growth.
