Main Goal
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Based on the information gathered from Sales Department, help optimize and planning well the seed supply, industrial manufacturing operations, allocation and optimization of inventories and preparation of orders. Support the Sales Team (Area Managers and Customer Service) with information on product availabilities and/or on pending orders shipped from HM.Clause, Inc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Sales Forecasting: Administration, maintenance and internal communication of all forecast planning and analysis. Study trends, compile forecast projections, detect gaps, challenge product managers and sales reps. Management of sales forecasting systems and tools and support to users. Analyze the forecast changes with inventory specialists and update forecast system if necessary. Check consistency relative to the range and the product forms; verify monthly repartition and average selling prices are accurate. Monitor consistency of supply. Participate in sales meeting. Share available information with TSRs. Updates sales forecasting tools and review unconsumed forecasts or pro-rates. • Sales Contracts: Draft, coordinate signatures and track completion of all sales contracts through Seed Purchase Agreement (SPA), Product of Acreage (POA), or ACE. • Prorates: Gather all necessary information and analysis on the shortage of product and suggest a shared allocation amongst the regions to the VP. Once agreed informing the Sales team, Inventory, Customer Service & Director of Production. Monthly follow up of unconsumed prorate inventory to reallocate to other regions if necessary. • Pricing: Coordinate annual update and year-round maintenance of all pricing, management of pricing in JDE, production of customer price lists. Provides updated and reliable database prices for AMPA and HM.CLAUSE. Updates transfer pricing to the subsidiaries. • Reporting and Analysis: Sales history, sales to budget, financial and other analysis reporting from BU Reporting as requested by management & other departments. Use of data to analyze and identify trends, recognize discrepancies, and determine new ways to report data to emphasize necessary information. Monthly report of department activity (prorates and top varieties). • Budgets: Organization of annual sales budget process, extracting budget data, analyzing budgets submitted by sales to management targets, calculation of margin and sales targets, and preparation for review and finalization in JDE. • Product Allocation: Prepare annual forecast at release/product allocation files,and manage product allocation on orders throughout the year. • Market Analysis: Provide support for coordination of market activities and Share database, reporting and analysis of market data. • Close monitoring of Sales Tools used for dealer bookings to have direct communication with Area Managers and TSR's.
Profile
Education and/or Experience • Bachelor's degree required • 3-5 years of experience in marketing/sales or supply chain • Knowledge of ERP systems including Forecasting and Pricing modules • Strong skills using Microsoft Access and Excel • Strong analytical skills & detail oriented • Excellent written and oral communication skills; bilingual in Spanish desired • Organized and able to handle competing priorities • Experience working in the seed industry preferred
