Main Goal

Limagrain Group, a global leader in seeds and cereal products, is looking for a Developer to join the Information Systems Department (DSI).

You will be part of the LVS Business Line, the world's No. 1 in vegetable seeds, within the Production, Supply, and Operations domain.

As a Developer, your role will be to analyze, configure, develop, and test interfaces between our various solutions, following detailed specifications and the chosen architecture to meet business requirements. You may also be required to develop ad hoc solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

You will report to the IT Domain Manager – Production, Supply, and Operations.

Job description

As a Developer, your responsibilities will include:

· Analyze

You will create detailed design and development specifications based on user needs.
You will propose technical solutions adapted to the request.
You will evaluate the development workload.
You will participate in analyzing the compatibility of the solution with technical and functional requirements and assess the need for specific developments.


· Design and Develop

You will develop according to written technical specifications, using appropriate hardware and programming technology.
You will investigate, analyze, and document defects reported during the realization phases.
You will perform maintenance programming and correct identified defects.


· Test

You will unit test the produced code and participate in integration tests to ensure the highest possible quality.
You will set up test plans and unit test scripts.
You will document your work.
You will keep the KB-IT knowledge base updated with encountered issues and their resolutions.


· Support

You will provide support after commissioning within your area of expertise.
· Technological Watch

You will stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and practices in a constantly evolving field.

Skills: what we expect of you

Skills:

· Proficiency in languages (notably Talend) and development environments specific to interfaces and Microsoft Power Platform

· Knowledge of the lifecycle of systems and data

· Understanding of a development process from functional requirements to production deployment using Agile and DevOps approaches

· Analytical skills, rigor, and organization to produce quality work

· Ability to work in multicultural environments

Job Requirements:

Minimum education level required: BAC+2 or equivalent experience

Minimum experience required: Open to recent graduates

Languages: English (Level 4 – Fluent)

Permanent position (CDI), based in Chappes, Porte-Lès-Valence, or La Ménitré
