SUPPORT FUNCTIONS - FINANCE

Main Goal

This role is all about making sure the financial statements are accurate and in line with both local norms and IFRS standards set by Limagrain Group.


As the Business Area Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the precision and dependability of financial reporting for 7 entities in 7 countries, as well as the consolidated reporting for the entire Business Area.

You'll be in charge of structuring financial reporting workflows, actively coordinating key processes such as Budgeting, Forecasting, and Closing, and implementing control systems for effective steering and safeguarding of company assets.

Job description

I.     Financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting

 

  • In coordination with each entity’s financial controller (or accountant ) and country managers, prepare the BA forecasts and annual budget
  • Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and mid-term plan to Country Managers, BA CFO and BA Head.
  • Use Hyperion and BFC tool to report financial data 
  • Provide monthly qualitative comments and performance indicators/reports to explain main variances vs last year and vs Budget or Forecast
  • Identify risks and opportunities with BA CFO and BA Head.
  • FLASH report – consolidation and monthly follow up of actual sales
  • Update APS – sales forecast prices and volumes
  • Provide a valuable support to Country managers, Country finance controllers, BA CFO and BA Head in the efficient steering of their activity regarding the financial KPIs
  • In contact with the BU finance team, ensure the constant and perfect alignment of the BA reports and deliverable with the Group ‘s expectations.
  • Work closely with the BA CFO to perform various ad hoc analysis across all LCE  including strategic and tactical matters as it relates to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, cash flow forecasting, risk management, legal & regulatory requirements, etc.
  • Support the consolidation of the BA business reports
  • Provide analysis on customer level for supporting the decisions of BA Credit Management Committee 
     

  

II.     Controlling

 

  • Assist the BA CFO in developing and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Perform monthly controls to ensure compliance with the Policies
  • Analyze monthly OPEX and ensure that the costs are aligned with the Internal Policies
  • Support the implementation of the Business Ethics & Anti Bribery rules
  • Proactive in proposing and implementing process improvements within the organization

Skills: what we expect of you

  • 3 years of progressively relevant work experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting for a subs of an international Group.
  • Aptitude for computer systems (accounting software, ERP environments (SAP), and Microsoft suites. An advanced experience in the high-complexity degree of MS Excel will be appreciated.
  • Effective in process analysis, risk and control identification, and problem solving
  • Should have experience in partnering with an executive/Management team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills
  • Transversal and hierarchical management experience and recognized skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations are essential.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
