Main Goal

Within the global research organization of the Field Seeds Division in Limagrain, in our Trait and Technologies organization, you'll provide leadership as a Genotyping and Molecular Analysis Laboratory Manager .

Job description

 

People:

You'll provide direct leadership to the team.
You'll ensure all team members adhere to company standards (health, safety, environmental, ethical compliance, government regulations, etc.).
You'll promote innovation and maintain a high technical level within your team.
You'll develop close relationships with other teams and crop research heads as a member of the Trait and Technology department.
You'll contribute to the management of the Trait and Technology department as part of its leadership team.

Operational responsibilities:

You'll maintain effective communication and reporting with lab clients.
You'll ensure proper organization and process management, driving performance through Quality Assurance management and continuous improvement.
You'll establish the mid-term plan for the lab in accordance with client needs and available technologies.
You'll manage the overall lab budget, establish unit costs, and oversee the invoicing and budget allocation process.

Skills: what we expect of you

Do you hold a PhD, a master's degree, or an engineering degree in a technical field with at least 5 years of experience?


Is your leadership demonstrated through a successful track record in team management?


Do you have at least 5 years of experience in activity management, including budget and process management?


Are you proficient in both French and English, spoken and written?


If so, you are the candidate we are looking for!

Experience and/or knowledge in plant or animal breeding or genotyping is a plus.
