PRODUCTION & OPERATIONS - PRODUCTION & OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Main Goal

As Head of Operations within Limagrain coop, your role will involve overseeing the manufacturing and shipping operations of seeds, as well as managing the associated support functions (transportation and freight, maintenance, new works, and quality).

Job description

As a member of the executive committee and reporting to the CEO of the cooperative, your main missions are as follows:

 

-   In close collaboration with internal customers, Plan and oversee harvest, packaging, and shipping operations for seeds.

-   Lead the transformation and reconstruction project of the seed factory, working in conjunction with all stakeholders.

-   Implement safety policies within the Operations department.

-   Develop a culture of operational excellence (continuous improvement, safety management, quality, TPM, etc.).

-   Propose annual budget to the General Management and ensure monitoring and control of allocated budgets.

-   Benchmark market practices in industry (technical, technological, competitive).

-   Actively contribute to the cooperative’s strategic goals, alongside the Executive Team.

Skills: what we expect of you

Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent experience.

Confirmed experience in a similar role, ideally within an agro-industrial and matrix environment.

Strategic vision and understanding of industrial economics.

Ability to drive change.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Customer service orientation and influence capabilities.

Dynamic and enthusiastic, capable of rallying and motivating teams.

Proficient in English.
