Function

SUPPORT FUNCTIONS - HR

Main Goal

Manage the HR activities for his client group (Sales and Marketing departments) to achieve the goals set by the General Manager and Regional Director of HR, in compliance with the guidelines and objectives of the HR policy, the company’s values and the legal requirements of the country. 


Act as business partner for Sales and marketing leadership team to facilitate the development of the human capital. 

Job description

1.1 Recruitment & Onboarding


·       Plan recruitment needs on short, medium and long term in collaboration with the General Management and the heads of departments.


·       Collaborate with local stakeholders to maintain a continuous pool of potential candidates.


·       Coordinate the recruitment process with talent acquisition specialist, starting from interview setting all the way to the communication on the decisions made on the recruitment. 


·       Collaborate with management and Comp & Ben Manager to build an attractive and fair compensation package 


·       Responsible of the onboarding of new employees 


 


1.2 Career Development & Training 


·       Coordinate the annual appraisal campaign according to the HR policy; support management teams in annual appraisal process, provide metrics and feedback to HR management on appraisal campaign.


·       Responsible for the execution of the People Review in his/her perimter, according to the HR policy; support management teams in people review process. Monitor the follow up of the action plan and succession planning.


·       In collaboration with Regional OD manager, and the heads of departments, implement training and development initiatives to address current capabilities and future training needs. Propose training initiatives, according to legal requirements, budgets and the HR policy of the BU.


·       With the support of Comp & Ben, implement the salary review and promotional plan.


 


 


1.3  Employee relations


·       Develop strong working relationships with executives, management and staff; providing advice, guidance, and coaching as needed


·       Works closely with management and employees to improve relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. 


·       With the support of OD team, implement engagement surveys and ensure action plans follow up.


·       Provide legal & disciplinary advice to the managers when needed. Follow the disciplinary actions in collaboration with the General Manager and the regional HR Director.


·       Implement and follow up of employee handbook and other legal requirements.

Strategic Planning and Analysis – Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to envision and deliver innovative solutions.  Ability to think critically, conceptually and analytically.  


 


Technical Skills – Strong generalist background with broad knowledge of recruiting, organizational management, employee relations, training and development, international mobility and safety.  Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources management.  Ability to stay current with federal and states laws and regulations.  Strong computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint; as well as experience with HRIS.


 


Interpersonal Skills – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain a mutual comfort level while relating to a diverse workforce.  Ability to be a mentor and resource for direct reports.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executive management, peers, staff, outside agencies and auditors.
