RESEARCH & INNOVATION - BREEDING
Main Goal
The aim of the position is to take part in a corn breeding program, in compliance with selection schemes, under the responsibility of a breeder, and in close collaboration with his team.
Job description
In this position, your main tasks will be :
- seed reception
- sowing preparation
- sowing
- manual pollination: self-pollination and cross-pollination
- field notations
- organization of harvesting and threshing
- computerized management of the breeding program via Excel and internal - databases
- formatting and analysis of statistical data (nursery notations and phenotyping platforms).
You will interact extensively with other teams on site and within the company. Occasional travel in France and abroad.
Skills: what we expect of you
We're looking for the future nugget to join our team from among people with a BUT, DUT, BTS or Licence Professionnelle in agronomy or plant breeding. We also need this person to :
- Demonstrate rigor and responsibility.
- Interact easily and enjoy teamwork.
-Be able to manage teams of seasonal workers.
- A taste for working in the field.
- Must be able to work hard during peak periods.
- Must hold a "B" driving license
Driving agricultural machinery would be a plus
Use of Pack Office (basic)
English would be a plus.

Recruitment process
Our recruitment process consists of several stages:
- the first consists of a pre-screening of applications by Jérémy, our Talent Acquisition Manager, accompanied by future manager Cristina, to draw up a list of candidates for audition.
- A first interview is organized with the future manager.
- A second HR interview follows shortly afterwards.
Finally, feedback is given to the candidates.
