PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Regional Supply Chain Planning manager and their team are responsible for managing and planning the product flows, process steps, and stocks for the AMPA hubs. For on time, in full, in quality to the customer.

Job description



Regional Supply Chain Planning Manager:
The primary goal is to ensure short to long term availability (Service Level on time, in full, in quality) and optimize inventory levels, but also impacts the overall operations performance on Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Also responsible to coordinate functions within Supply Chain and adjacent to Supply Chain (sales, marketing, …). The scope of the role is AMPA, but it has a global impact. The SCP (Supply Chain Planner) manager acts on short/mid-term operational objectives contributing to the execution of our road map to develop Operational Excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Regional Planning Manager:
The following activities are conducted at the Regional Planning Manager Level:

Planning
•Ensure short to mid-term (3y) material availability on all crops by managing/coordinating all relevant teams/functions (production release meeting process, direct management of local teams, and partnership of adjacent functions)
•Analyze and optimize stocks reducing shortages, overstock, and destructions
•Contribute to the product flow footprint strategy for each species (drive the Operations part of the SCR) and global flows optimization

Executing
•Utilizing your team ensure the pull/push material flows through process steps to deliver on time, in full, in quality. Switch to pro-active to reactive when needed to secure business.
•Aim for Business Operational Excellence: build the SCP road map (Mid Term Plan) and organization to continuously improve the performance of the above missions and processes, in line with global operations vision/mission, anticipating future business need
•Anticipate capacity issues and align with lab and factories to ensure product is on time in full

Communicating
•Pro-actively coordinate with adjacent functions (factories, sales, lab, …)
•Strongly contribute –sometimes lead- the capacity alignment process (S&OP) with sales
•Provide visibility and projection on key financials risk and opportunities (top line: sales impact; bottom line: stock levels, discards, and KPl's
•Successfully manage and connect with other Supply Chain Planning teams across the world

Development
•Manage and grow a team, continuously improve on short and mid-term levers to grow toward Operational Excellence
•Ensure and anticipate people and organization development of approximately 20 people
•Contribute to global operation vision/mission and is accountable to deploy it on their scope
