Limagrain Group, a global leader in seeds and cereal products, is seeking an IT Domain Manager to join the Information Systems Department (DSI).
You will join the LVS Business Line, the world's No. 1 in vegetable seeds, to lead the Data and Analytics domain.
As a Domain Manager, you will contribute to defining the data strategy and data governance within the LVS Business Line. You will participate in defining the IT strategy for this domain and contribute to defining the functional and/or technical architecture. You will also be responsible for implementing all necessary solutions for the Data and Analytics domain, including support, while adhering to the framework established by the DSI's Director of Data and Artificial Intelligence.
You will report to the LVS IT Director.
Reporting to the IT Director of the Vegetable Seeds branch and in collaboration with the group IT, your main missions are:
- Definition of Data Management Strategy: Develop and implement a data management strategy aligned with the Business Line's objectives.
- Data Governance: Educate and assist the business in establishing data governance to ensure quality, security, and compliance.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Implement and maintain processes for data collection, storage, and analysis to extract relevant and strategic information.
- Information Systems Management: Supervise, deploy, and optimize information systems specific to your domain, ensuring their performance and reliability.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise IT projects, respecting deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Support and Maintenance: Organize preventive and corrective maintenance of systems as well as user support.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving systems and processes in the data and analytics domain, and lead actions to optimize efficiency.
- Team Setup and Management: Create and lead the LVS Data team, ensuring leadership.
- Promotion of Data Culture: Encourage a data culture within the LVS Business Line to maximize data utilization across all departments.
- AI Integration: Promote a culture around Artificial Intelligence while ensuring value creation.
- Budget Construction and Monitoring: Participate in the creation and monitoring of the IT budget for your domain.
Expected Skills for this Position:
In-depth knowledge of data infrastructures (data warehouses and Big Data solutions, among others)
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to guide strategic decisions
Competence in using visualization tools (ideally Microsoft PowerBI and MicroStrategy)
Ability to communicate and understand both IT and Business languages
Ability to identify needs and translate them into IT solutions
Ability to work in multicultural environments

Prerequisites for this Position:
Minimum education level required: BAC+5, Master's degree or equivalent
Minimum experience required: 5 years or more
