Propósito de la posición

Belonging to our sales division, reporting to the national Sales Manager, the position is based in Portugal. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing country sales activity. She/he will be responsible for developing our vegetable seed business.

Descrição da função

Sales :

-         Sales to key accounts: direct and undirect customer in the area.

-         Insure commercial range development.

-         Market understanding and structure knowledge.

-         Establish sale forecast & propose strategy to reach it.

-         Respect price policy, payments follow-up, manage customers current portfolio and prospects.

-         Contribute internally and externally to the commercial promotion of our product range: leaflets, customer platform, individual promotion to growers and key accounts.

-         Follow crop development and establish daily contact with key actors.

-         Establish strong conexions with colleagues from Development and Research Department in order to identify the future range and correct product positioning.

-         Open & frequent exchanges with other colleagues from Sales department.

 

Marketing:

-        Responsible for expressing market demand and trend to our development team, managing promotion for new products along with development team.

-        Contribute to market data studies, updated on regular basis.

-         Responsible to update list of key contacts.

Perfil

Must have:

- Confirmed experience in sales.

- Sense of relationship, practical sense, team spirit & market vision.

- Open minded and ability to work in multicultural environment.

- Agricultural engineer or pepper sales background with strong interest for field work.

- Self-starter and pro-active personality - The taste for challenge

- Spanish advance level, English speaking is a plus.

 

This full time position is opened from now and a long term contract is

foreseen.

Base is Lisboa area.
