Job description
MID TERM STRATEGY ● Contribute to design the local business review & to implement related mid-term sales plan. Increase profitability, CAGR growth for the coming few years MANAGEMENT ● Manage the team : organize team work & planning, set up & follow up objectives, organize team & individual meetings, develop the skills of the team, identify competencies gaps & recruitment needs, participate to the recruitment and onboarding process, identify talents. BUDGET (OPEX) ● Manage the operating budget for expenses of the different teams (Sales, Product Development and/or Customer Service) CUSTOMER, MARKET & COMPETITION INTELLIGENCE ● Benchmark & analyze local customers, market & competition knowledge to identify business gaps and opportunities. PRODUCT RANGE DESIGN & UPDATE ● Based on the recommendations of the Product Development Manager, assess gaps & opportunities of the current portfolio from a sales performance perspective and propose product range optimization. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ● Provide sales revenue & market share perspective during the product development process. Export, Alternate channel and Digital sales Handle the Annual operating plans and realization for growth in export, alternate channel, digital sales with close coordination with marketing, Communication and Supply Chain teams COMMUNICATION, PROMOTION & TECHNICAL SUPPORT ● Challenge and validate communication & promotion actions for new varieties & existing varieties when required. SALES FORECAST ● Consolidate & review all regional sales forecasts & design a forecast for the country with a focus on volume, monthly allocation & average sales price. ● Manage and follow up sales vs. forecast. Propose/prioritize product allocation amongst areas in case of seed availability issue. PRICING ● Design & implement a coherent sales & prices policy at country level to increase gross margin. ● Define the objectives of average sales price and the sales actions value & frame. ● Follow up sales objectives completion & prioritize actions during sales campaign in coordination with the customer service. CREDIT MANAGEMENT ● Follow up the day sales outstanding (DSO) and validate, coordinate high value/risk situations with the Credit Management team. REPORTING ● Consolidate & analyze regional reports to the management, design and monitor KPIs.
