Head of Product Development and Porfolio Management is accountable through the crop team to propose the crop strategy and follow up its implementation in Europe, to ensure overall Profitability and Business Growth and as such:
· Analyze the market expectations and work in collaboration with Research on the future strategic orientation
· Identify new products adapted to market condition in the European Trial Network
· Promote new products and support the commercial areas in the product positioning
· Manage the Portfolio
Main Missions
· Work closely with Research and Global Strategic Marketing to identify market needs and requirements and help defining Breeding goals (products characteristics, pipeline, ideotypes etc.)
· Design and implement trials network to evaluate Experimental Products across BSA Europe in accordance with the local laws and regulations in force in each country where trials are planned.
· Accountable for Products registration, for Products qualification, attribution, and technical positioning
· Manage Products Portfolio, Products Life Cycle and Technology Development (Seed treatment etc.)
· Lead Crop Teams to improve profitability of the crops; together with Supply and Business teams, manage portfolio range (varieties, seed treatment, SKU etc.) to minimize inventory risk and increase profitability
· Manage connections between Business and Supply; SOP process, products Allocation, Mix portfolio and crop plan
· Develop and maintain technical expertise on crops and provide technical support to Business Area (product knowledge, technical expertise by crops, Technology etc.)
· Actively network with Global Strategic Marketing team providing regional inputs to help building Global Crop Strategy; customize and implement these strategies in Europe.
· Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop Development & Product Management staff to ensure the quality, validity, and credibility of the organization's Development & Product Management activities.
· To ensure compliance with all laws and regulations in force regarding his missions defined above by strictly respecting and enforcing the intellectual property rights of any third party as well as the anticompetitive and anticorruption rules.

Background and Education :
- Minimum a master’s degree in Agronomy
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing and development in seed industry
