We are currently recruiting a Local Sales Promoter to support the continuous growth of our seed business in the Middle East. The position will be based in Jordan or Egypt and will report to the Area Sales Manager, currently based in Jordan.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Analyze the market trends; Collect, analyze and propose market data by interacting with local players in the vegetable market (growers, distributors, dealers, Ministry of Agriculture, …).
• Provide yearly market study for your perimeter
• Ensure a good relationship and a good interaction with your dedicated distributors and support development of the distribution network.
• Participate in the local Communication, Promotion and Marketing plan and its implementation (product launches, field days with distributors, brochures, Shows & Fairs, seminars, advertisements, etc.).
• Provide data to support the construction of the Sales forecast of the current portfolio and the new varieties to be launched in your perimeter.
• Coordinate Development Trials with dedicated distributors, in collaboration with the Area Sales Manager, Product Managers and Breeders: samples management, annual Trial plan agreement, technical and agronomical follow-up and support of the trials plan and evaluation of the trials with the distributors and growers.
• Act as local relay on behalf of Vilmorin-Mikado in the established perimeter, when necessary (for example, claims management)
• Provide regular reporting in English, respecting the established deadlines and format.
•  Maintain and develop strong collaboration with all Group Limagrain stakeholders

You hold a degree in Agronomy or agricultural studies with at least 3 years of experience in the vegetable seed industry

You are positive, proactive, solution-oriented and open-minded person.

You possess strong communication skills and exercise power of influence.

You are able to adapt to and thrive in the multicultural environment of the company.

You demonstrate good analytical, synthesis and negotiation skills.

Other requisites:

Languages: Fluent Arabic and English (writing and oral skills).
IT: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web tools (advanced/professional user)
Driving License.
