RESEARCH & INNOVATION - RESEARCH OPERATIONS
Job description
1) To assist the Station manager/ Agronomy Manager/ Crop Technician in managing the Agronomy at the station and in the smooth running of the entire assigned operations activities
2) To take stock of the resources (men & material) and allocate the resources as per the need of the breeding team/research team/Ops team
3) On-time execution of all the assigned activities from Land preparation to Material disinfection as planned by concerned manager.
4) To monitor & guide the temporary workers w.r.t SHEILD & SAFETY sustenance.
5) To collect proper data regularly workers activities) and tracking in the available templates
6) Supervise the temporary workers and to see that they are wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, follow the access control rules and all the SHIELD guidelines.
Skills: what we expect of you
- Should have practical knowledge of the cultivation of crop, machineries, farm equipment and knowledge of chemical risk.
- Should be an effective communicator (both verbal & non- verbal communication) in the local language and knowledge of English (for writing)
- Possess a basic knowledge of computer applications.
