Deliver a commercially successful pipeline of hybrid products in assigned Hot Pepper markets by contributing to all
aspects of a commercial breeding program, including new parent line development, hybrid creation and hybrid product
advancement. Lead implementation of the best breeding technologies and methods to deliver an efficient and
innovative pipeline that offers the best genetics to our customers in US and International Hot Pepper markets. This
position will be based out of our R&D hub in Davis, California.

Education and/or Expérience
• M.S (PhD preferred) in Plant Breeding, Quantitative Genetics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years' experience in plant breeding, preferably with field-based research and mastery of experimental design, statistics, breeding methodologies and marker-assisted breeding approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to translate phenotypic data and genomic/molecular marker information into applied breeding strategy and decision making, including experience in Genomic Selection, Genome Wide Associations, QTL mapping/deployment, phenomics, simulations and/or statistical analysis of large data sets.
• Must be proficient in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
