Missions

The Project Portfolio Manager will support the office of the CEO's and the Global Strategy Team (GST) in successful project implementation by establishing prioritization on the planning and execution of the portfolio of strategic projects. This individual will be well-versed in project management principles and practices to spearhead and develop the culture and discipline of project management within the organization, including the implementation of aligned end-to-end processes, governance, and KPI's to monitor the project portfolio. The incumbent is also expected to develop and bring strong project management competencies to support the management and harmonization of the community of project managers, people development competencies and skills related to project management, promoting the exchange of best practices and utilization of common tools.

 

·       Develop prioritization of key projects impacting the strategic execution and roadmap of the organization across the business enterprise. Manage Ad-hoc projects assigned by the office of the CEO's supporting the business

·       Manage cross-functional decision-making process through the stage-gate framework to ensure alignment with the enterprise priorities and make decisions on whether to move forward or not based on pre-stabilized criteria/filters.

·       Promote and reinforce common culture of project management across the organization by sharing best practices, developing and deploying common trainings, and utilization of common language and tools

·       Lead the Project Manager (PM) network community by sharing and developing project management best practices across the organization.

·       Develop an executive portfolio dashboard by defining clear and relevant KPI's intended to measure the progress at the business level: metrics and performance tracking as well as reporting progress, milestones, issues, conflicts and workload

Profil

·       MBA preferred, plus 4 – 6 years of relevant planning experience;

·       Knowledge and experience with continuous process improvement methodology preferred;

·       PMP, Project Management or related certification;
·       Experience managing large portfolio(s)
·       Experience with change management, resource management
·       Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability in solving strategic questions
·       Ability to work in a matrixed environment or on cross-functional teams
