We are looking for a Quality Manager for our location in Made, the Netherlands.
As Quality Manager you will take care of the overall quality of our products, vegetable seeds, from early stage to the commercial stage, performing risk analyses on the commercial release of our products. It is your responsibility to make sure that everything we produce is released with the right quality level.
This includes checking if the customer order matches what is delivered but also addressing any unexpected outcomes during the production or manufacturing process; ensuring a good commercial result without losing sight of our customers needs and meeting all applicable quality standards.
In the role of Quality Manger you also do assessments of complaints and lead complaints management.
You apply a preventative approach to quality and provide a critical view on current state and create solutions for the future.
Since you work together with many different colleagues but will not have direct reports in this role, your talent for positively influencing others will be an important contributor to your success as Quality Manager.
Job requirements:
- BSc or MSc degree in a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in quality management;
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the vegetable seeds business or strongly related business;
- Advanced knowledge of database and analytical tools;
- Phytopathology knowledge is a plus;
- Full professional proficiency in English.
