• Data Management and Analysis
o Develop, oversee, and manage R&D strategic data from multiple data sources.
o Develop and oversee complex data extractions, transformations, and load mechanisms.
o Clean, validate, and transform raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity.
o Design and develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract and transform data for analysis and reporting purposes.
o Query and analyze large volumes of R&D data from diverse sources.
• Data Reporting
o Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate findings and insights to the R&D Leadership team and other stakeholders.
o Uses a modern BI tool such as PowerBI, MicroStrategy, and Tableau to curate and display data from multiple sources.
• Data Storage
o Develop and manage SQL Database systems, including security, backups, and disaster recovery.
o Build extraction queries, functions, and procedures to support data retrieval, storage, and custom transformations.
o Create databases, build tables, build views, build stored procedures, user-defined functions, and .net assemblies.
• Other Duties include.
o Apply Windows security to all applications, reports, and data tools. Apply security within a database server, including user creation, role creation, and leveraging AD security.
o Functional expert on provided tools including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
o Provide basic training in Excel, Access, SQL, and Data Management as needed.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an analytical field such as data science, statistics, computer science or related discipline and experience in database management and analytics are required
• 5+ years of experience SQL Server Experience comprising of
o Extensive use of TSQL to automate critical tasks, including dynamic table creation, importing data, transferring data, server maintenance, and processing data to produce usable output.
o Background in applying security (for all objects) within a database server, including user creation, role creation, and leveraging AD security.
o Background in leveraging row-level security to limit access to data elements.
o Background in importing data from external sources such as text files, Excel Spreadsheets, and Azure data storage.
o Background in providing robust backup solutions.
o Background in building out SQL Installation from scratch on a new OS (plus).
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with
o Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Access functionality.
o Ability to write VBA solutions for both Excel and Access from scratch.
o Experience with modern data visualization BI tool such as PowerBI, Microstrategy, Tableau
• 5+ years of experience using a programming language such as C#, VB.Net, Java, or Phyton.
• Experience using VBS and PowerShell.
• Ability to work in a global team environment as well as independently without other technical support.
