Location: Yulin, Shanxi Province or Beijing and need business trip to Hainan etc.

Report to: Maize R&D Head

Subordinates: 6 team members

Research management:

• Coordinate seed production programs and activities for both summer and winter season.
• In charge of all data collection and analysis in seed production and report to R&D management.
• To optimize production process with KPI tracking; improve seed quality, data accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Take charge of SPR program design, implementation and data analysis; targeting for good product with high seed productivity.

Team management:

• To supervise station management, expenses control and budget management in Yulin and Hainan.
• To enhance team build-up, and improve professional capability of each team member.
• Responsible for germplasm safety in seed production process.

• Master’s degree in Agriculture or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in maize breeding or seed production, processing and/or technical environment.
• Capability to lead and coach people and teams, results oriented.
• Attention to details and willing to work in the field.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills in English.
• Computer proficiencies.
• Valid driving license.
• This position will require extended hours during peak periods, as well as frequent business travel.
