Purpose of the position
As a Sales Representative for the company this position will provide the products and services necessary to fulfill the customer's needs and generate sales growth in the designated market.

Ability to react positively and effectively in situations that require patience and negotiations. Ideal candidate will be responsible for his or her own success and achievements. Ideal candidate will have logical reasoning, ability to interpret information quickly and accurately along with being articulate and easily understood.

Job description

Essential duties and responsibilities:
 

• Coordinate customers within the designated area.

• Conduct visits on a regular basis.

• Understand customers' needs and anticipate their needs.

• Maintain updated customer registration.

• Achieve the sales target determined by the company.

• Provide relevant comments related to sales figures.

• Information about the customer's situation.

• Information about products used by customers.

• Information about the market and competitors.

• Provide customers with product information.

• Establish variety tests on producers to determine the adaptability of genetics in relation to competing varieties.

• Introduction of new products.

• Maintain a high level of knowledge about market trends and customer needs.

• Maintain a high level of communication and teamwork with customers.

• Place orders for: variety, product, unit price, shipping method, packaging, customer contact, etc.

• Prepare annual Sales Budget and Forecasts, biweekly, monthly and yearly.

• Direct communication with Sales Analyst to manage orders and monitor deliveries.

• Requires daily trips in a company vehicle, to visit customers and evaluate products in the field. Availability of 2 to 3 trips per year outside the area to attend meetings and events. As travel restrictions loosen; there may be the need for an international trip once per year as necessary.

 

Others:

·         Schedule / coordinate meetings and appointments with clients, managing the business travel logistics of the Brazilian team and visitors.

Profile

Education:
Complete higher education in Agronomy or related areas.
Competencies:
·         3-5 years’ experience in a similar position (desirable in a multinational company);

·         Fluent / Advanced English is desirable.

·         Microsoft Office skills; and desirable CRM;

·         Ability to work in teams with different cultural profiles.

·         Have good communication skills and be organizational skills

·         Ideal candidate will work autonomously, be determined, reliable and efficient.

·         Primary focus will be the customer and the business.
