Finalité du poste

Limagrain Field Seeds is a major player in malting barley breeding and is developing its varieties worldwide. To increase footprint of Limagrain’s malting barley varieties, we are looking for a Malting Barley Business Manager.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing Limagrain’ global malting barley strategy, interacting with research, development, marketing and sales teams.

You will be working closely with our malting, brewing and distilling customers to ensure that our varieties meet and exceed their future quality requirements 

As a member of Limagrain Field Seeds’ European Cereal Portfolio Management team, you will work with Limagrain teams in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. 

Vos Missions

Your missions


1. Analysing the value chain

• Analyse the whole barley malt beer and distilling chain
• Coordinate and develop relationships with leading maltsters, brewers and distillers worldwide
• Develop and adapt Limagrain’s strategy to answer to the needs of the industry chain


2. Offering solutions aligned with industry goals
• Portfolio management: define required ideotypes, evaluate internal pipeline and propose improvements
• Marketing and communication: analyse market trends and competitive benchmarking; propose and deploy a general communication strategy


3. Coordinating and supporting local Limagrain teams
• Commercial excellence: improve business models, negotiate contracts, identify growth opportunities and deploy sales effectiveness strategy (processes and tools)
• Malting barley teams: animate Limagrain sales and product managers communities
• Support countries in their communication and contacts with the industry and define action plans with local teams

Compétences : ce que nous attendons de vous

TYPICAL EDUCATION

• Minimum a Master's degree

EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

• Required 5 years minimum of work experience in malting, brewing, distilling

• Good understanding of malting barley quality and agronomy
• Commercial sales acumen and customer service excellence
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively
• Ability to generate new ideas
• Ability to lead and influence activities of cross-functional teams
• Speaking German is a plus

 

Position can be based in France, Germany or UK

Processus de recrutement

After a telephone call, if your CV is selected, you will have 2 interviews: the first with your line manager and the second with the Human Resources Manager in charge of the job you are applying for.

A third interview with your future N+2 is possible but not systematic, as well as the completion of tests (personality, excel, etc.).
