Main Goal

As Business Lead for Romania,
- Develop the Sales & Marketing strategy and lead the business activities in Romania.
- Execute Sales & Marketing strategies and deliver the business and financial objectives established at the Business Area level.

As Central Europe Hybrid Crops Lead,
- Coordinate the Product Managers activities across the Business Area related to Corn, Sunflower, and OSR.
- Contribute to achieve the countries business and financial targets by developing and ensuring the implementation of the local product marketing plan, in line with the BU orientations and policies and the country/BA business objectives.

Ensure strict implementation and adhesion of all people working in the Sales & Marketing dpt. of responsibilities to Limagrain safety and compliance rules.

Job description

As Romania Business Lead

• In line with the BA strategy and with the country management team, develop and implement the commercial strategy (go-to-market strategy, distribution platform, portfolio positioning, commercial policy, demand creation activities, …) to deliver the financial and business objectives (Revenues, LAV, Market Share).
• Prepare Sales Forecast & Local marketing plan.
• Propose and follow up Sales and Marketing OPEX budget.
• Monitor and report periodically sales performance (volume and price).
• Lead the Product Managers & Marketing Communication Managers for supporting the Sales operations and maximize penetration in the targeted segments.
• Propose and implement necessary corrective actions in case of deviation versus budget.
• Monitor cash collection and trade receivables.
• Represents the company in front of local major customers and business stakeholders.
• Ensure implementation of Limagrain guidelines and policies on HSE and full compliance of all local operations with all applicable laws & regulations and internal corporate Code of Conduct
• In close cooperation with Limagrain Central Europe HR, develop local HR related policies (comp end ben, car, travel,...) and ensure adhesion and consistency between the different departments
• Act as one of the primary country representatives towards external and internal bodies.
As Central Europe Hybrids Crops Lead
BA Product Managers coordination
• Coordinate the Product Managers across Central Europe: Create and animate the BA Product Managers community to improve processes, best practices exchanges, development of Product positioning, Demo trials approach, creation of product argumentation.
• Analyze the market trends and develop market segmentation, for answering business needs and identifying new sales opportunities.
• Provide Central Europe BA Management, Product Marketing directions with the country product manager's support.
BA Hybrids Product Portfolio Management
• Lead the BA Crop Product Portfolio yearly review for Corn, Sunflower & OSR.
• Ensure of the consistency of LG products portfolio in each hybrid crops in all Central Europe Countries. Be the support for Country Product Managers to identify gaps and optimizations.
• Develop a strong product launchings approach/methodology and help the Country Product Managers implementing in each country supporting the sales.
• Contribute to maximize LG portfolio Profitability.
Product argumentation and Marketing Projects
• Support the product managers for optimizing the marketing positioning & argumentation of the different varieties according to market segmentation and local specificities, providing methodology.
• Act as a key person for the deployment of LE projects in the BA (Blockbuster Launching…)
As a member of the BA management team

• Coordinate the development and support the implementation of the BA strategic roadmap.


• Msc. in Science and/or MBA
• About 10 years professional experience in the seed industry with 3-5 years' experience in senior sales/marketing or country management position.
• Product Management experience is a strong plus.

• Strong commercial mindset
• Fluent in English & Romanian
• Good knowledge of the Agribusiness / Seed industry in Romania.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Strong leadership, people/team management
• Results oriented
• Ability to manage a community in a matrix organization
• Financial acumen
