Main Goal
· To drive the strategic and operational marketing initiatives, ensuring the alignment of brand, product, and customer-focused strategies with the business goals of the Limagrain Field Seeds. This role emphasizes leadership in brand management, product lifecycle management, product development, campaign execution, and farmer-centric strategies to maximize market share and business impact.
· Identify target segment, establish positioning, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
· Lead the end-to-end execution of marketing programs, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration (Sales, Research, Supply Chain, and Support Functions)
· Develop and drive digitalization of various processes in the organization
Job description
Strategic Marketing
· Develop and execute brand and product strategies with both short- and long-term focuses, aligning with Limagrain Field Seed guidelines and India business objectives. · Design the marketing budget and develop a comprehensive route-to-market strategy to achieve sell-out and POG (Product on Ground) targets. · Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to market exit. · Create and implement crop strategies and campaigns that integrate seamlessly into sales strategies. · Oversee the creation of promotional materials for both online and offline channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
· Plan and track ROI for marketing campaigns while defining actionable go-to-market strategies tailored to farmer segments and market needs
· Develop pricing strategy and drive value capture
· Develop and drive digitalization of various processes in the organization · Monitor market dynamics and adjust marketing approaches to capture shifts in grower behavior, needs, and expectations.
Campaign Marketing
· Develop product positioning and communication strategies to enhance product value propositions through direct market feedback.
· Develop Launch plan for new product · Plan and execute national campaign cycles, ensuring all activities are trackable, measurable, and deliver clear ROI. · Coordinate and oversee seasonal campaign activations, structuring resources and tools for effective planning and execution.
Product Marketing
· Lead actionable farmer segmentation and develop financial plans tailored to each segment, maximizing customer acquisition and retention. · Align Country go-to-market strategy with farmer insights and market conditions to deliver integrated product and service offerings. · Develop customer-focused campaigns aligned with their journey, leveraging insights to create meaningful interactions. · Collaborate closely with the sales team to implement go-to-market plans, ensuring farmer engagement strategies are effectively executed and monitored. · Track key KPIs (e.g., market share, awareness, purchase intent) to measure the success of go-to-market initiatives.
Operational Brand Management
· Coordinate with external agencies and internal teams to develop innovative marketing materials, packaging, and communication tools, including Above The Line (ATL) and Below The Line (BTL) campaigns.
· Ensure branding strategies and guidelines are consistently implemented to achieve objectives like increased market share and brand awareness.
· Support the field team in executing marketing programs and ensure optimal utilization of promotional tools.
· Maintain and leverage a comprehensive customer database to enhance marketing program effectiveness.
Product Development
• Work closely with Research team to develop product concept and needs
