POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Global Vice President of R&D, the R&D Global Administrative Coordinator provides executive support and administrative coordination for HM.CLAUSE's Global R&D Management Team (GMT). The R&D Global Administrative Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on diverse matters pertaining to the global R&D Department. The R&D Global Administrative Coordinator also serves as a liaison to senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects.

The R&D Global Administrative Coordinator must be creative and results-driven. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities in a demanding and dynamic environment. The position requires proven ability to be agile and adaptable. Additionally, the role will frequently work with diverse cultures so experience working in global, multi-cultural environments is required.
The role will have the ability to work independently on projects and be prepared to anticipate the needs of the executive then recommend and implement solutions, from conception to completion. The individual must be able to work under tight timelines to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. The individual must be a proactive professional with solid critical thinking skills and possess strong networking and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.\\Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A. Global R&D Executive Management Team (GMT) support:
• Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Global VP of R&D and R&D Global Management Team: manage a calendar of appointments; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans and agendas; and organizing the logistic around meetings in and outside the US.

• Communicates directly, and on behalf of the VP of R&D and the R&D Global Management Team, with the company leadership and external partners/stakeholders on matters related to Global R&D Departmental initiatives.

• Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the
o VP of R&D, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

• Works closely and effectively with the VP of R&D to keep well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.

• Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization, and manages a variety of special projects for the Global VP of R&D.

• Coordinates and Joins the VP of R&D and R&D Global Management Team in key meetings.

Education and/or Experience

• BA/BS degree or relevant professional certification/experience preferred.
• More than 5 years of experience supporting C-Level executives, preferably in a professional corporate environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Teams and PowerPoint) required.
• English language fluency required; Bilingual (Spanish or French) skills a plus.
• General understanding of the Accounting and Finance discipline and terminology desired.
• Project Management experience.
