Main Goal

As a Asia Operations and Supply Planning  Director, you lead both on Strategic and Operational and tactical/ mid term view for Asia Operations development. While your primary responsibility is to deliver the business (on time, in full, in quality), you are expected to deliver or exceed expected[BS1]  performance on Safety, Quality (product compliance, customer complaints, Delivery (service level), Cost (P&Limpacts: cogs, stock levels, etc..) and team development and motivation, as well as improving our environmental footprint
You will be responsible to design and execute in Asia a Clear strategic roadmap to ensure the business growth, in line with Global Operations approach.
You report to the head of Global Operations. You have an important role in connecting different departments within HM Clause, forming and building teams and the organizational structure required for best efficiency.


Job description

The ASIA Operations leadership aims to reach Business Operational Excellence in Safety, Quality, DeliveryCost and Motivation, Environment, in alignment with business needs and Global Operations vision, with the following main levers:

• Design and execute Factory Masterplan (CAPEX) and technical road map
• Ensure People and organization development
• Manage and Improve our processes, Tools and methods, included Operational Excellence
• Set a mid-term road map KPIs
• Prioritize and manage activities: leading the team, innovating and optimizing processes and planning
• Report on your activities and represent Global Operations in Asia

You represent Global Operations at the Asia ExeCom, and represent Asia in the Global Operations Leadership team, you are a member of the Supply Chain platform in Asia and leader of Supply Chain vertical in India, to enhance cross functional collaboration with all departments involved in the Supply Chain.

Most important tasks:

• Build and deploy an ambitious safety continuous improvement, hereby increasing our safety maturity and performance
• Create systemic continuous improvement around quality, from customer feed back to internal issues. Challenge status quo, and coordinate efforts to create improvement.
• Develop and improve our Quality management system
• Constantly improve our quality standards
• Deploy Operational Excellence programs, in connection with global programs
• Delivery. Ensure high service level putting in place ad hoc means.
o Run the S&OP process
o Analyse the needs, align demand and capabilities
• Manage the seed production release process in line with local stakeholders and global process
• Establish and manage budgets, create cost improvement programs
• Optimize stock utilization, improve stock ratios
• Establish and execute Capex, build Capex request to executive leadership
• To Grow teams skills and capabilities and develop the Supply chain organisation
• To Manage a diverse team across Asia
• To propose actions to improve environment impacts on your perimeter.

Profile


• Minimum Master degree in Agronomy / Agri. Sciences / Horticulture or Agricultural Engineering / Science required. MBA/PGDM – Logistic / Agribusiness Management would be added advantage
• Master's in Business Management (MBA) / Logistic and Operation Management / You have at least 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain position, preferably in the food and/or agro industry;
•You have at least 5 years of experience leading operational teams in a production-related and matricial environment;
•You have thorough knowledge of ERP systems;
• You master the English
• You have a pragmatic attitude, like to take the lead and are a reliable and constructive discussion partner;
• Available to travel
