Main Goal
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Management of the Production Operations for HM.CLAUSE in AMPA Region, with a team of Home Farm Managers and Field Reps in the US, Mexico, Chile and Peru.
POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: In alignment with HM.CLAUSE's Seed Supply Strategic Roadmap as well as LVS Production Strategy, the Production Operations Lead is responsible for 1) the development & the management of Home Farm and Grower Network production in AMPA , 2) the development and deployment of the Production Strategy for AMPA and 3) the design and execution of the CAPEX plans for the region.

ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Note: Other duties may be assigned •As a member of the Seed Production & Seed Supply Management Team (GMT), contribute to define strategy for the department and execute actions in the Production Operations perimeter. •Develop and implement a Production Strategy (production capacities and locations) as an integrated part of our Seed Supply Strategic Roadmap. •Develop & manage the team of Home Farm Managers and Regional Production Managers throughout our production locations (the US, Mexico, Chile and Peru) consistent with our management principles. •Develop & implement relevant management infrastructure in order to accomplish the goals of Production Operations (establish KPIs, develop monitoring mechanism, continuous improvement) •Build Production Operations budget OPCO and CAPEX (maintenance and projects) to perform the established goals in the Region. Budget to be presented and validated by the VP Global Seed Production & Seed Supply. Ensure reliable Budget Control and avoid uncontrolled deviation without approval. •Assure homogenous, cohesive execution of protocols (Sanitary, GSPP, Shield…) and procedures within HM.CLAUSE Production perimeter in AMPA. Encourage best practices and sharing between regions and Home Farms. •Be an active member of the Limagrain Vegetable Seeds (LVS) Production Forum through the Expert Groups and encourage synergies for HM.CLAUSE and LVS aligned with Strategic Roadmap. •Develop and Reinforce policies set by Management and ensure that it is applied to all concerned sites (phytosanitary protocols, seed movement policies, safety & environmental policies, mandatory trainings, Limagrain code of conduct, Intellectual Property protection) •Manage the reporting and follow up on all site incidents - audit and follow up on all opportunities that have been identified. •Manage sites to raise awareness on potential issues with external safety and environmental regulatory requirements (country specific) •Conduct regular reviews with regional & local home farm managers to be sure issues are identified and corrected – follow up with appropriate internal resources SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages Home Farm Managers, Production Country Managers and Field Reps

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: •BS in Agriculture or related field •Minimum 5 years of experience in vegetable seed production. •Previous experience with global seed production or seed supply management desired •Leadership experience with effective interpersonal communication and management skills is essential •Experience in budget management •Ability to travel at least 25% of time to domestic and international locations.

Ability to develop and maintain production work relationships across all levels of the organization, especially with the Supply Chain and other divisions involved in the seed production process, e.g. R&D and Marketing. Ability to be a mentor and resource for direct reports. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, peers, staff and outside agencies.
