Main Goal

Responsible for the management and business development of the assigned product portfolio testing, quality specifications, determining product forms, marketing, sales forecast validation and managing safety stocks.

Job description

 Manage and develop a global team of Product Managers.


Essentials duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Lead the development and the execution of the crop strategy for the Solanum portfolio
• Oversee the Product Management activities of the team including life-cycle of products included in the assigned global product portfolio, marketing mix, product assortment, pricing, marketing plans, Intellectual Property, turnover and margin optimization
• Provide direction to research and breeding by defining product segmentation, product characteristics and market requirements for mid and long-term goals.
• Build constructive relationships with managers of other Divisions and participate in crossfunctional projects aimed at improving the company's operational excellence
• Responsible for developing the Intellectual Property strategy for the Solanum
• Responsible for the Commercial Product Quality Specifications for the Solanum
Seed Portfolio.
• Participate in Brand management.
• Manage, train and coach a group of Product Managers.
• Initiate and lead business development initiatives (licensing in/out, co-hybrid, partnerships).
• Participate in the Marketing Management team: contribute to building HM.CLAUSE's Mid Term Plan and improving Marketing processes, systems and tools
